Dr. Seuss comes to life on the O’Neill stage!

Seussical Poster On May 28th, 29th and 30th 2013, the O.C.V.I. Grade 11 Musical Theatre class will proudly present our evening performances of ‘Seussical!’, based on the works of the much beloved Dr. Seuss.

Seussical tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge--not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.  The story will warm your heart and the music will keep your toes tapping for days.  This family friendly musical will be something you just should not miss!

The doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 for students/children and $12 for adults.  You can call the school at 905-728-7531 (ext. 427) to reserve tickets or buy them at the door (if available).
